Roof Repairs in Chester and Surrounding Areas

Finding the source of a leak

Water can travel from the point where it enters before it becomes visible indoors. The obvious internal mark is not always directly below the external fault. We inspect the relevant roof coverings, junctions and drainage details, then explain the likely cause and repair options.

Storm damage and urgent enquiries

If the roof has been damaged in severe weather, keep people away from any loose materials and do not climb onto the roof. Call us with the property location and a description of the damage. We will advise on availability and the safest next step.

Chimney repairs

Chimneys are exposed to wind, rain and repeated temperature changes. Repairs may include repointing, renewing lead flashing, replacing damaged pots or caps, and carefully reducing or rebuilding unstable sections when appropriate. The exact remedy follows an inspection of the masonry, mortar and roof junction.

Insurance work

Where storm damage may be covered by insurance, photograph the damage where it is safe to do so and contact the insurer promptly. Dee Roofing can provide a quotation describing the proposed repair, but the policyholder remains responsible for confirming cover and authorisation with the insurer.
